After camping all week we felt it would be nice to catch a nice sleep/shower before exploring Bar Harbor. It was everything we wanted and more for a one night stay. Very clean, spacious, provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, breakfast in the morning, and great service at the front desk. The hotel was quiet and had plenty of parking. Very safe. I will say the honorable mention was the hotel breakfast. We never expect much but there’s was above average. Lots of pastries, small premade omelets plus your other normal sausage, cereal, fruit, juice and bagels. We were really happy with our stay and it capped a wonderful vacation positively. We would be back.
Great location. Very close to Acadia National Park which allows quick and easy access all the park activities. Also free shuttle service from hotel to Bar Harbor downtown and part of the Acadia National Park provides additional convenience for large groups or family.
Hotel staff services was excellent which includes front desk, breakfast and room service. Hotel rooms were clean and sanitized well. Bar Harbor view from the room was astounding where you get to see beautiful sunrise.
I highly recommend to stay at this hotel.
Beautiful, well kept grounds with a gorgeous and CLEAN pool area. All staff was very welcoming and kind, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the lobby each morning during our stay(please try the Maine blueberry coffee!!). Convenient location to downtown and Acadia park. I would highly recommend staying at the Hampton Inn Bar Harbor!
Nice location but the two bedroom room is comically small. Very little room on the outer side of the room to even maneuver around and move. This room is obscenely expensive for what it is. Paid to upgrade our room and now have a great view of the parking lot and a sliver of the harbor. I cannot believe we spent $750 to stay here for one night.
We were on the mountain side and views were spectacular, some of the best we had on this trip. Every employee we encountered, and there were a lot, were very very friendly and engaging.
Rooms weren’t super quiet but that’s par for the course at most hotels anymore and the rest of the hotel more than makes up for that.
This is probably the nicest hampton I've been to.
The beds are super comfortable. The rooms are clean.
The breakfast is great- they have a selection of bagged grab and go pastries which I have never seen at another Hilton hotel. It was convenient and nice for the weekend day when there wasn't a single seat available in the breakfast room.
Staff were nice.
ONLY complaint-- it's not as "waterfront" as the advertising photos make it look. We were given a waterview room and it was literally just a sliver of ocean, far away, mostly blocked by trees.
Had a great stay at this hotel!! Only a 5-minute drive from the center of Bar Harbor. All the staff is super nice and welcoming, and their continental breakfast is legitimately one of the best I've ever had! Would highly recommend.
